Re: NEW CAPTAIN SIM 757III LIVERY?

Hi, do you know if the new CS 757 textures are compatible with the CS FS2004 and/or their old FSX 757? Most of their FS2004 textures are compatible with their FSX models when you convert them to dds. When I'm finished with the logo I could work on the CS 757 but only if it works with the older FSX d...

Re: XP11 - FlightFactor A320-200

Yes, congrats :!: I'm still busy with my concept paint/logo. Worked on it last week but a bit of the flu stopped me for a few days. Finally managed to get the blue on the fuselage to match the vertical stab like Tom does. It's not easy when the tail is on a separate texture. I had to restart FSX doz...

Re: XP11 - FlightFactor A320-200

What do you guys think of the experimental tail logo? It's completely different from what I cooked up but I really like it. It's actually a sort of modern version of the old logo. Sort of sharper looking. Maybe experiment a bit with a 3rd colour in the circle so the transition from blue to white is...

Re: XP11 737-900ER Ultimate

Hi, those are very good paints. I would say with a open-source font on the tail and the new logo it would make a nice default paint. I could make a row of cartoon figures that look like that from my Ed Nofziger cartoon drawing book. Change them a bit so they're my own creation. Can you show a detail...

Re: XP11 - FlightFactor A320-200

eurowhite Ah, that style even got a name. I’ve recently updated my 737-900 paint to include the blue triangle through the fuselage, I’ll upload some photos tomorrow of it. I'm looking forward to those. I’m still not sure the “air-child” on the tail is the best approach. I will have a look and see i...

Re: XP11 - FlightFactor A320-200

Hi& welcome Dirk :!: I think this is a question for Jesco but I also think he's away(basking in the sun somewhere? ;) ). The last I saw from him about the XP A320 was this: Got one copy for me. Eventuelly I will start making an ACH livery over the long week-end - given FF is providing me with a pain...

Re: XP11 FlightFactor A350-900

Wow, very nice paints. The children's drawing is also nice. The drawing might be a bit hard to standardize for the default paint though. It might not fit on smaller aircraft etc. But maybe those could get a smaller drawing. I really like the A350. With its sinister black 'sunglasses'. Funny how Airb...

GDPR, EU privacy law

Hi, for some months now I'm feeling I should bring this up: GDPR Wiki link . After four years of preparation and debate the GDPR was finally approved by the EU Parliament on 14 April 2016. Enforcement date: 25 May 2018 - at which time those organizations in non-compliance may face heavy fines. A lot...

Re: strange flight distance

Let me know if and when you get an answer Barthe. Finally out of the hospital and back home since yesterday. Hopefully get some work done next week. Still recouperating and on sick leave at home until May 15th for starters and we will see from there but I'm guessing a one to two week extension will...

Re: strange flight distance

Flight: ACH5043 LSZH (Zurich) - LOWW (Vienna) Route: FMEE DOBU1N DOBUT UB790 KINAN UA401 DV UL445 GABSO GABS3C HKJK ??? So the flight went FMEE-HKJK, 1625.7 nautical miles, but that takes 4,5 hours??? So maybe not. But that's what it says. It's a regular flight but the route is wrong. So is this don...

Re: Booking of aircraft

, a cron job has been implemented to check daily if pilots have been moving the aircraft or not. Should the cronjob find that the booking has not been followed through on day 3 the booking and blocking of the aircraft is removed from the database. I can affirm this. I once forgot a job(sorry guys) ...

Re: Simulation rate

Hi, Wim. You're allowed to increase sim rate when you're flying off-line(XAcars only). When you're using a network(VATSIM, IVAO, FSEconomy) the rules of the network precede. A search on our own forum told me you can use time compression on VATSIM but you have to tell ATC at the start of your flight....
