Welcome the Boeing B787-9 to the Fleet

As of Today, we have two new family members in our fleet. The Boeing B787-9 with a seating capacity for 290 passengers in a two-class configuration of 40 business class seats and 250 economy class seats. Both aircraft will be based in Cologne-Bonn (EDDK).

We have secured options for further aircraft of this type from Boeing.

München Airport - New Hub

München Airport is a major international airport near München, the capital of Bavaria. It is the second-busiest airport in Germany in terms of passenger traffic after Frankfurt Airport, and the seventh-busiest airport in Europe, handling 44.6 million passengers in 2017.

The airport is located 28.5 km northeast of München near Freising and is named after former Bavarian minister-president Franz Josef Strauß. It features two passenger terminals with an additional midfield terminal, two runways as well as extensive cargo and maintenance facilities and is fully equipped to handle wide-body aircraft including the Airbus A380.


München Aiport was openend on 17th of May 1992 and is operated by Flughafen München GmbH
